The Good News of Jesus Christ!
The Gospel is the good news that God loves you and has made a way for you to know Him. God created us to live in relationship with Him. He is holy, perfect, and full of love. But we have all turned away from Him. The Bible says:
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

Our sin separates us from God. No amount of good works, religious effort, or personal improvement can bridge that gap. We are unable to save ourselves. But God, in His great love, did what we could never do: He sent His Son, Jesus Christ—fully God and fully man—to live the perfect life we could not live and to die for our sins. On the cross, Jesus bore our sins. Three days later, He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

How do we receive this gift?
Jesus has done everything necessary for us to be forgiven and restored to God. We receive His gift of salvation by turning to God and placing our trust in Jesus Christ.

Trust what Jesus has done for you. You do not have to make yourself worthy before coming to Him. Come with your need, turn from sin, and entrust yourself to the Savior. God justifies the one who believes in Him, and His grace begins a life of growing trust and obedience. The Romans studies explore the wording “faith of Jesus Christ” and explain why this site understands it as referring to Christ’s faithfulness.
A simple prayer of response
If this expresses the desire of your heart, you can speak to God in words such as these:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins and rising again. I turn from my sin and place my trust in You as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me, come into my life, and make me new. Amen.”
This prayer is an expression of faith, not a formula that earns or guarantees salvation by its recitation. Our confidence rests in Jesus Christ and His promise to those who trust Him. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith.

Romans 3:21–26 has been a pivotal passage in my life. It opened my eyes to the heart of the gospel: God’s righteousness revealed through Jesus Christ and received by faith. These verses stand at the center of Romans and serve as a “viewing lens” for my study of the whole Bible. That discovery reshaped how I read Scripture and continues to shape my walk with the Lord.
The articles on this site and my book When Christ Returns grow out of years of personal Bible study, reading, and notes gathered along the way. My hope is to share what I have learned, explain the evidence carefully, and point readers to the riches found in God’s Word. I seek conclusions that can be tested against Scripture while acknowledging questions on which faithful Christians disagree.
